The focal point of the entire series is the vertical iron piece that is embellished with handmade facets. The Shanghai sofa features a double perimeter construction made of solid beech and poplar wood with MDF inserts, and it can accommodate two or three seats. Elastic belts that are not prone to deformation ensure proper springing. High-density polyurethane foam in a range of densities covers the structure, with a high elastic component in the upper layer. The back cushions have a synthetic layer underneath and a top layer of feathers that are differing in density; they are non-deformable.
